Greetings Between Friends

Let us smile at one another.

I have seen the workings of the unseen. It lives in the tissue between beings.

As I am a friend, I learn friendship. As I learn friendship, I understand, Lord, your relationship to me.

Let me walk the fields, finding those I might greet, and smile.

Let the smiles multiply. Another greets another greets another. Until the circle is complete, and I meet my own smile in another’s.

Let me be a friend, and so find you, sweet Lord.

How can I weave greater connection?
