Each day a puzzle to be solved.

Each challenge a trial.

Each critic an enemy.

Lord, I see the world wrongly. All is well, so let me see the world as so. These troubles are momentary and light.

If there be a stone in my path, let me simply walk around it. This road leads up nonetheless.

Let me better depend upon you.

Let me seek your guidance and help first, before all.

Let me remember I face nothing alone.

You clear the way, you have given me all I need. Let me do your will.

I peer out from behind the door. What gathering forces will assail me? What storm will destroy the barn?

Everywhere I look, I see catastrophe. Let me see with brighter eyes. The rain is past, the crowds are here to celebrate. Why do I not see the joy around me, within even my home?

Let me accept help today, Lord. Open my eyes.
