I changed in an instant. The world still wheels around the sun, the tides creep, the gloom of dawn becomes noon.

On my knees, deflated, I cried out and you drew near. I was ready to accept the gift.

Just as swiftly, it can be unmade. Woe unto me therefore!

Let me be willing today, as I was then, to live as you would have me live.

I can change in an instant.
