Through Me

And through others.

On morning rounds, I greet others, and they me. How could they know I am your channel, Lord? What I speak to them are not my words but theirs.

If something I say moves a heart, which unclenches a fist, and opens a space for peace — it was not what I said but what you did through me.

If something I hear moves my heart, and causes me to act — it is not my neighbor but you though them.

Let me act and go with care, Lord, on this delicate mission. Every word important. Every act a masterpiece.

You work through us, to and for each other. Are we not all of God, then?

Consider:

How can I remember that I am yours?
