Reborn

And so, grateful.

Born anew, each morn.

Crows still fly even in the low winter sun, the herd still seeks grass. I still have my daily chores. All this on a blank slate of a day.

What have I done to merit these daily chances at reprieve and rebirth? How dare I see this day as anything but opportunity?

Let me live this day in gratitude to you, Lord.

Consider:

Can I be ever more grateful?
