Letter 4403
When I left my dwelling, early and before dawn, the chill air called for more clothing. A hat, a coat — not what I had planned for a spring day. I dressed for the day at hand, not for the day I had hoped for.
At noon, after long walking and under bright sun, I removed my coat. The rest of the way, I carried it. Also unplanned.
At my destination, I found no rooms for me. I would need to stay awake in the public spaces, and hope for accommodation and grace.

Let me accept the world as it is presented to me, Lord.

Can I accept your will for me, even when it is other than what I would want?
