Friends

A village full of them.

A village of friends, some already, some not yet.

As I walk the roads in the evening, seeing into homes, let my heart swell with love with each successive neighbor.

If I would have a life filled with friendship, let me then first be a friend. Let me not wait for my neighbor to come with an introduction but instead go to them with a smile and a greeting.

Let me be an active friend, Lord.

Consider:

Can I be a more active friend?
