Complete Abandon

Living expectantly.

What is it like to abandon myself to you? I lose the safe feeling of control, and gain the exhilaration of grace. Even in failure, I cannot fail.

Where will you send me, Lord, and what will I do there? Given over to you with abandon, I cannot know yet I eagerly await it.

Let me live expectantly.

Between here and there is wilderness. Let me stride through it upright.

Consider:

Can I truly abandon myself today?
