Not Worry, Not Woe

Yet they both line my road.

Worry is not the same as woe.

I worry over the outcomes of the day. What will happen? What will befall me? What if it is the worst?

My woe responds to the answers to my worry. A calamity befell. The worst happened.

They both line my road.

Let me stay away from these two terrors, Lord. My road is broad, filled with friends walking along with me. Why drift I over to the edge, just to gnash my teeth? Let me stay here where love-light shines and fellow travelers prop me up.

Consider:

Can I stay, untouched, here in the center?
