Accepting Myself

You made me for a reason.

How better to pray to you, Lord, than to express gratitude for all your works and creation?

Am I not one of your creations, Lord?

As I seek to grow and become all you would have me be, I come to realize that I am perfectly made. You fashioned me for a purpose, even as I wonder at what it might be.

Let me see and accept myself as I am, Lord — and so accept your will for me.

Thy will be done.

Consider:

Can I accept myself?
