Help Others

My only calling.

In the early dawn, even before the creatures have stirred, there is work to be done. I struggle to set my thoughts aright, trying to align my will with yours. First I must seek to know it.

A stray thought crystallizes my way out of the murk. “Help others.” A simple directive, why had I not heard it earlier?

And now, new work begins: to follow this path.

Help others.

Let me try, Lord, to the best of my ability.

Consider:

Can I truly be of service today?
