Letter 4457

In a wasteland, where I do not hear your voice. Brackish water, mired walkways.
Are you truly silent even here, Lord? The sun here is the same one that shines on my simple home.
If I do not hear you, could it be that I am not listening with great enough intent? My surroundings have frightened me, and I have closed down.
Let me breathe. In. Out. Again. Let the gentle repeating breath open my chest, and allow me to hear your voice.
❖
What are you saying? All is well. All is well. And all is well.
Let me listen for your voice.
Consider:
Can I listen for you, even when frightened?
